Reed Valve Block MALOSSI Carbonio VL6

The intake manifold block represents the connection between the intake manifold and engine block. This is where the control of the intake process takes place. Through its flow optimised outlet, racing intake valve blocks are among the absolute basics of engine tuning. For this reason we stock a wide selection of original and tuning blocks for the current reed valve systems.

The MALOSSI VL6 reed valve block is available in two versions. As a 'Carbonio' with reed valve plates made from carbon, which allow a higher intake volume and offer an optimum flutter behaviour. And as 'Carbonite' with plates made from specially coated fibre glass. These offer a heavier flutter behaviour than carbon plates but their coating means they are extremely break-resistant, open progressively and close again very quickly.

Thanks to the rubber sealing lip the MALOSSI MHR VL17 reed valve block is very low wear and is great for touring engines when fitted with carbon plates. For high rev cylinders with both the VL6 and the VL17 block a stuffer is included in the scope of supply to optimise the in-rushing mix. The reed valve plates for the corresponding reed valve are also available individually.
