Product description
Even the Austrian family firm, with the wolf in their logo, have been developing tuning components for the modern Vespa models for a number of years now. They prove themselves once more with the introduction of this special edition of their race exhaust system. This REMUSsports exhaust system convinces with innovative details, such as the stainless steel heat-shield located on the downpipe to prevent accidental contact. Other unique features include an increased internal manifold diameter. Compared to its competitors this exhaust excels with the most compact dimensions making it fit easily beneath the sidepanels, even when the suspension is fully compressed. The RSC version also includes a modified silencer and a decent REMUS logo in its design.
Attention: This system is not automatically compatible with all side-panel crash-bar systems.
Available in stainless steel, black and carbon-each supplied with a black end-cap.
SlipOn or Complete exhaust system / Stainless steel produced / Approved silencer
Information: Due to the Euro IV regulations exhausts with removable catalyser cartridges are no longer road-legal. This new REMUS is therefore available with or without one fitted, providing the option of fitting a road-legal version.
SIP - TIP: Catalyser cartridges (#43020700/#43020900) are also available, making them road-legal.
SIP Community User 'bfr123' on #REM43013: “Great exhaust. The appearance suits the Vespa completely. Great sound, but not TOO loud and the production quality is excellent. I would buy it again!”
CAUTION : Due to the very soft suspension on standard scooters, race exhaust systems can quickly come into contact with the scooters frame when fully compressed. The rear shock absorber should always have its spring pre-load adjusted to maximum compression. To be completely on the safe side, a stiffer after-market race shock absorber system should be included in the set-up of your tuned scooters suspension.
