Product description

Doppia 50cc, from here on there is 100% more capacity! DR welcomes you to the 102cc class. Anyone on the lookout for more power will find the way in here. Powerful fun for the city, for two riders, or for the pleasurable trip to the Italian restaurant is guaranteed.

High-quality DR cylinder, neat finish, 6 transfer ports provide appropriate torque. Important for all kits from 102cc: the primary transmission must be replaced. Recommended primary ratio is the 3.00, the 2.86 can in some cases already be too high. Due to the large bore and the small cylinder diameter, however, everything from 102cc upwards is to be enjoyed with caution as far as heat build-up is concerned. DR has here tried to reduce this build-up somewhat and painted all cylinders black for better dissipation of heat. There is also better protection against corrosion free of charge.

Conclusion: Ideal entry cylinder in the 102cc class, superb partner for the city. High-torque for use with 2 people. For long distances or longer stretches at full-throttle it is better to use the > 125cc cylinder.


Cast iron/ 55mm bore/ 6 transfer ports/ 102.16cc

Cast iron cylinder, stroke 43mm, 6 transfer ports, divided into 2 side transfer ports and a boost port divided into four, pistons with 2 piston rings and plane cylinder head, 6mm exhaust studs, original DR cylinder head included in delivery, incl. gasket set. Jets should be adjusted.

Fits all Vespa 50/PK/XL/XL2 models, except PK automatic. Transfer ports match the originals, casing can but does not have to be modified.


SIP-TIP: Adjusting the main jet and a new spark plug is a must also change of transmission, min. a 3.00 primary, max. 2.86 with reinforced clutch and/or stronger springs. Racing shaft and carburettor size from 16/ 16 recommended, or better a 19 carburettor with intake manifold. You can easily make the cylinder happy with an original exhaust with a wide manifold or the SITO banana.
