Product description

For years, crankshafts for the Vespa PX80 have been out of production. We took care of the problem and - in collaboration with MAZZUCCHELLI - produced a new racing crankshaft for the PX 80.

Racing crankshafts are a simple and effective tuning upgrade for every disc valve motor. A racing shaft gets higher rpm's, your motor will be agile and have more pep. Better acceleration and higher top speeds are the result. A racing crankshaft has noticeably longer intake timing in comparison to an original crankcase. Your fuel fill will also be higher. The crank flanges are streamlined and polished, turbulence and flow blocks are reduced. The connecting rod is partially a polished edged connecting rod, the lower connecting rod bearing is a silver bearing.

Conclusion: The ideal tuning for a Vespa PX 80 with original stroke. MAZZUCCHELLI stands for longevity and durability.

 

Racing crankshaft / stroke 48 mm / 25/24 mm, M12

Racing crankshaft with Ø 95 mm crankweb (flywheel side), Ø 97,9mm crankweb (disc valve side), oil seal housing 24mm, bearing housing 25mm, stump cone with M12 thread, incl. connecting rod bearing

 

SIP-TIP: Not only perfect for original cylinders, but also suitable for sporting setups with MALOSSI 139 or DR 135 cylinder, racing exhaust and 24mm SI carburetor.

The timings stated above were determined viewing in the direction of the clutch side. That means: "138°/6° after TDC: Inlet timing begins 6° after TDC and stays open for 138°.

Please note that the angular degrees given here are approximate values, as the crankshafts are reworked by hand.
