The original PIAGGIO mirrors that were fitted look a bit like antenna on the modern Vespa. As the lever is much too long, the mirrors extend a long way outwards, with a negative impact on the visuals.

The SIP'Shorty' mirror provides help here. With a lever length that is approx. 5-6 cm lower, it slots in optimally with the overall image of the Vespa. The ball joint means the mirror head can be adjusted easily and the field of vision is not compromised, despite the shorter lever. The mirror features an E-number and can be used for driving in road traffic without any problem. The mirrors are supplied including rubber caps and lock nuts.

Conclusion: Those who find the original mirrors unattractive, but who don't want to miss out on the original visuals, should go for the SIP 'Shorty' mirrors.

Information : Before you attempt to mount these items it is important to check the attachment threads on the steering assembly of your scooter. If you find right-handed threading on both sides a mirror thread adapter (#AC209062) will also be necessary for the left-hand side. To compensate for the increase in height that this adapter provides, a matching adapter for the right-hand side will restore symmetry!
