Product description
Carburettor jet needles for the Mikuni TMX35 (TM 35-1) carburettor.
When a new carburettor is professionally set up to suit the engine to which it is fitted the jet needle is usually replaced.
These jet needles have a decisive influence over the smooth running of the motor throughout the entire rev range.
We have the '6EN11-51' through to the '6EN11-58' jet needles available for the TMX35 carburettor.
The last two digits of these codes indicates the diameter of each needle, measured above their conical end.
The 6EN11-52 has a needle-shaft diameter of 2.52mm.
The 6EN11-53 has a needle-shaft diameter of 2.53mm, and so on...
The smaller the needle-shaft diameter, the richer the fuel mixture.
The needle-shaft diameter is responsible for the fuel/air ratio between an eighth and a quarter throttle opening.
The needles all have five positions for the clip.
The position of the clip affects the fuel/air ratio between a quarter and three-quarter throttle opening.
