Intake manifold for conversion to larger carburettors

With the intake manifold SHA from AKOA, larger carburettors can now finally be used on PIAGGIO CIAO models and the like.

What are the advantages of the intake manifold?

• Use of Dellorto SHA 14-16 carburettors
• Aluminium CNC
• Suitable for POLINI Speed-Engine engine cases

While up to now only the SHA 13.13 carburettors could be fitted, with the intake manifold the larger SHA 14-16mm carburettors can now also be fitted to the Ciao.

The intake manifold with a connection Ø of 19mm is CNC machined from aluminium and then anodised and can only be fitted in combination with the POLINI Speed-Engine engine case.

The installation of the intake manifold is very simple, remove the old one and replace it with the new one. However, since there is only little space available in the CIAO, it could be tight here, and you may have to do without the air filter.

The best setup - our SIP-TIP:

• Of course, a suitable carburettor is needed. We recommend the DELLORTO SHA 14-16mm carburettors.
• The intake manifold can only be fitted in conjunction with the POLINI Speed-Engine engine case.
