Product description
Inner tube for fitting bar-end indicators to classic Vespa models
Many classic Vespas today are fitted with bar-end indicators, either to comply with road codes or for safety reasons. To mount them you need the indicator tubes. They sit inside the gear change and throttle tubes and are locked in position by a bracket in the middle of the headset to stop them from rotating with the twistgrips. This improves visibility and keeps the MOT Station happy.
- For Vespa models that are equipped with handlebar end indicators as standard
- Production in small series and manual work
Piaggio has stopped production of these for many models. SIP and Vesparatur have gone to great length to have the tubes remade in excellent quality. The indicator inner tubes from Vesparatur are not slotted to ensure a tight fit of the currently available handlebar turn signals. If you want to use old TRIOM turn signals, you simply have to add the slots afterwards.
Conclusion:No more bodges, and no more pleading at the MOT station to accept rotating indicators.
SIP-TIP:
Make sure to also order the positioning bracket in the centre of the headset to fit your scooter.
Note: These handlebar turn signal inner tubes only fit with gas pulleys and gear pulleys that are pushed over the tube. They do not fit with gas/gear pulleys that are pushed into the gas/gear tubes.
