Handlebar Lower Part LML

Unlike the older large frame models, the PX is fitted with a split handlebar. If the cast handlebar lower part is damaged, it must be imperatively replaced. The handlebar lower parts can be supplied for models with a drum brake and a disc brake.

For the PX with a drum brake, we can offer the handlebar lower parts in LML original equipment manufacturer quality. The handlebar lower part of the '98 models is perfect for retrofitting on disc brakes as the fixture for the master brake cylinder is already pre-mounted.

SIP-TIP: Order new screws for the steering head and set of bearings at the same time. Particularly effective combined with the chrome-plated steering head cover.

Information: Regrettably the New Old Stock drum brake equipped steering assemblies, from LML, are of poor quality: over painted, bad castings, ugly manufacture. That considered, they are the only steering assemblies still available for these Vespa PX models.

We recommend to have them sandblasted and fully tested using a flaw and crack testing procedure to then, if at all necessary, to repair and/or modify. When in doubt, please consider their use for show and custom purposes only!
