Handlebar Lower Part LML

We only use factory-new handle bars for our drop bars. These are then rebuilt in our master crafting shop, ´cause we think that security and quality are the most important ingredients in customising. Every steering head is delivered complete with a suitable steering head cover. The SIP Drop Bar is built at a 30° angle which promises a problem-free assembly with the original leg shields. The drop bar is welded on the inside and outside; the welts are not polished. We deliver a certificate with the drop bars to verify the type of materials used and assures the highest quality workmanship. To determine which welding material to use, the metal used in the steering head is analysed in a laboratory. Here in germany, this certificate is required by inspection authorities. Understandibly, we cannot accept any liability for the risks involved in using drop bars. We mounted drop bars for the first time on our SIP Racer in 1992. The racer has been in constant use since then; the drop bars have survived several accidents without incident.
