Exhaust Connector Manifold Section SIP PERFORMANCE

Exhausts that leak at the cylinder outlet-stub manifold can be an ever-recurring annoyance, especially for riders of the PX range of Vespa models. We can remedy it for good with the new exhaust connector manifold section SIP PERFORMANCE range. The existing exhaust manifold section is simply cut off and replaced with the new exhaust connector.

This is simply positioned in place of the removed exhaust section and securely welded into position. Slight modification with a Dremel or similar may be necessary for correct replacement of the original exhausts manifold section. For a perfect fit we recommend you spot weld the item in place while the whole assembly is mounted on the engine unit, then remove the exhaust unit for an all round, solid welding seam.

The new manifold section is designed to be 'squeezed' evenly around the exhaust stub while being fastened securely, so avoiding the damage to the cylinder stub associated with the original items when (over-)tightened. Thanks to the O' ring, located around its inner diameter, a gas-tight result is virtually guaranteed!

Conclusion: Brings an abrupt end to all potentially leaky PX exhaust systems and is also worth considering by all those exhaust constructors amongst us, as a readymade, off-the-shelf manifold section.

SIP-TIP: To avoid damage to the O' ring during assembly, we recommend the lubrication of the item first, using a little silicon spray or a few drops of oil.
