Driven Pulley PIAGGIO moveable half
Product description
The driven pulley represents a significant component in these automatic transmissions and in combination with the drive pulley is responsible for a continuously variable gear ratio. The driven pulley itself is made up out of two halves, one fixed in position on the output shaft of the Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), with the other half designed to slide along it. The distance between the two halves increases with the centrifugal force created by increased rpm.
The transmission components produced by RMS are of OEM quality, and are very precisely produced. The smaller components such as the guide pegs/O-rings are often ignored, but also deserve renewal.
SIP-TIP : Do not forget to order new fixing nuts for both the clutch and the clutch bell units. High performance grease (part no M7611882) is also necessary in order to prolong its service life.
