Conversion to rear Conversion Kit Brake Drum made easy with the Conversion Kit from JF Manuf.
With the exception of the 946, the air-cooled iGet engines from PIAGGIO use a Drum Brake at the rear as standard. If you find this too unspectacular and the braking power is not sufficient, you should convert to a Disc Brake. While the conversion was previously only possible with the Gearbox Cover and the Driveshaft of the 946, JF Manuf now offers a new option with its Conversion Kit now offers a much simpler and higher-quality option for converting to Disc Brake.

The Conversion Kit basically offers everything you need to convert the Crankcase to Brake Disc. The kit includes the necessary Gearbox Cover, the matching Wheel Hub and the respective Brake Calliper bracket. Depending on the Brake Calliper, there are different kits with different brake caliper mounts.
The special feature of the CNC-milled aluminum Gearbox Cover is that no further conversion of the gearbox (e.g. Driveshaft) is necessary. Only other components such as Brake Disc, Rim with Tyre, Brake Master Cylinder/ Brake Calliper and a suitable Brake Hose are required to complete the conversion.
