The DSPC carburetor from SIP Performance solves the false air problem of Vespa Smallfame carburetors in combination with modern carburetor technology.
We have been dealing with the problem of air leak on Vespa Smallframe models. It is well known that the factory SHB carburetors are often prone to false air infiltration. This problem is caused by an inadequate seal between the carburetor and the intake manifold.
The technology of SIP Performance's DSPC carburetors is simple, proven and reliable and is also found in a similar form, for example, in the DELL'ORTO PHBG carburettors.DS stands for Drum Slider. PC means Plug Connection.
A nice side effect: In recent years, the original SHB carburettors were often not available for a long time and it was unclear whether they would be available again. Thanks to the alternative of the SIP DSCP carburettors, the fear of the carburettor stroking of the small Smallfranmes is over.

This sleeve ensures a perfect seal to the intake manifold, making false air problems at this point a thing of the past. With DSPC carburetors, you can count on a reliable and airtight connection. In addition, we are responding to the supply bottlenecks that repeatedly occur with various manufacturers.
SIP DSPC carburettors fit SHB intake manifoldsThe SIP DSPC carburettors are mounted on the SHB intake manifold like the SHB carburettors. However, you must of course pay attention to the connection width of the carburettors when installing them.
- 17.5 mm DSPC with 16.10 SHB mount, the 19.19 SHB intake manifold sleeve is required.
- 17.5 mm DSPC with 16.16 SHB mount, the 19.19 SHB intake manifold sleeve is required.
- 19 mm DSPC with 19.19 SHB mount
A CNC air filter adapter is required to fit the standard air filter.
It also fits all air filters with a M32x1.25mm connection as used on PHBG carburettors. But for most of these air filters, the space in the frame is not sufficient for this purpose
