Cristian Mazelli is a dedicated Vespa enthusiast and he has been most active on the Italian scooter racing scene for many years. During his time as a racer he was constantly faced with material and part quality problems he deemed as unsuitable for the task in hand. A fully hydraulic front brake is THE must-have upgrade for any Vespa model! The precise braking-point and enormous transmission of force to the brake pads stop any Vespa, quickly and safely. To upgrade a semi-hydraulic GRIMECA system to fully-hydraulic a steering assembly mounted Brake Master Cylinder (BMC) is required and a suitably sized brake-hose. This all-new brake master cylinder, produced by CRIMAZ, is mounted using the existing fixing threads found on the underside of the steering assembly - plug & play! The 11mm brake pump mechanism is operated by the original cable-type brake lever, leaving the original appearance of the Vespa steering assembly largely intact.
