Product description
Who brakes, wins! And it isn't only those that do a lot of riding who do a lot of braking! Less frequent riders also have to make sure they have a good set of brakes.
Drums that are worn or corroded represent an extremely high safety risk, in the same way as waxy or oily pads. It is therefore necessary to check the condition of the brake drums at every service.
In order to regain optimum braking performance and safety level, worn brake drums should be replaced immediately. The brake drums differ in terms of their design. Along with the model designations, we also state the design of the rims. These differ in the sizes 8", 9" and 10" (always stated in inches) as well as in terms of an open or closed design. Rear brake drums are replaced more frequently. In this context, the diameter of the oil seal is important as otherwise gear oil can flow into the brake drum. Most of the brake drums are still Made in Italy.
SIP-TIP: Do not forget the new brake pads, brake drum nuts, splint and oil seal for the drive shaft. A new rim and a new tyre are also recommended.
