For scooter or motorbike riders, an accident often has more serious consequences than for car drivers. Especially in the event of a collision with other vehicles, car drivers are better protected thanks to a stable passenger cell and numerous airbags. But now scooter or motorbike riders can also benefit from airbags integrated into jackets or waistcoats.

The electronic airbag waistcoat from TUCANO URBANO offers the highest level of safety while providing maximum comfort for the rider. It contains an intelligent algorithm that uses built-in sensors to determine the rider's acceleration and position 1,000 times per second and triggers the airbag in a fraction of a second in the event of an accident. The airbag cushion inflates in less than 60 milliseconds at the optimum pressure to absorb the impact energy, stabilise the wearer's body, prevent spinal injuries and protect vital organs.

Complete hardware and software are included in the waistcoat, i.e. there is no need to install sensors on the scooter or motorbike or to establish a connection between the waistcoat and the vehicle.

Battery life of approx. 25 hours. Waistcoat automatically switches to standby mode when not in use. This is automatically deactivated at the slightest movement.

The AIRSCUD waistcoat can be worn under any type of jacket without any problems. However, it must be ensured that the airbag has sufficient clearance to inflate safely. To the size chart:

The In&box control module, which is installed in the back shell of the waistcoat, is necessary for the airbag waistcoat to function. The In&box is included in the scope of delivery and is immediately ready for use after initial commissioning. For commissioning and permanent functionality of the waistcoats, the In&box must be activated by a membership with In&motion (www.inemotion.com) and the "My In&box" app must be downloaded. There is a purchase option ("Regular") and a leasing option ("Revolution") to choose from.
