Product description
Their parabolic design means intake funnels contribute to optimising and speeding up the flow of air before the carburettor. The turbulence free flow ensures a high air flow and therefore influences the performance of the engine over the entire rev range. Therefore, the intake funnels are very popular with sprinters. Although intake funnels that are slightly longer have a positive impact on the torque, shorter intake funnels are an advantage in the upper rev range in particular – they naturally need a perfectly tuned carburettor though. We stock the intake funnels that are both CNC-milled from POLINI as well as MALOSSI (depending on design with or without replacement air filter made from wire-cloth) and also BGM.
Conclusion: Perfect for ‚blowing away‘ the competition on speed races! Only recommended for limited daily use due to the loud intake noise and the high quantity of air particles.
SIP-TIP: A jetting kit (e.g. DELL’ORTO 6mm part no 40270000) makes tuning the carburettor easier.
