Adjust Pin Kit MBD Oversized, crankcase

Set of oversize dowel pins for the gearbox cover on Lambretta models from MBD.

The holes for the dowel pins of the gearbox cover plate in Lambretta engines tend to be easily damaged, especially if the nuts have come loose and the holes have worn out a little.

• Set of 3 oversizes
• 7,5mm, 8mm and 8-7mm

MBD's set includes three dowel pins of one each 7.5mm, 8mm and stepped 8/7mm dowel pins to repair a housing around the end plate.

These are also slightly longer to allow more material to be found if small parts are broken out.

If this is the case and the standard 7 mm holes are a bit loose, mount the end plate without dowel pins and drill a 7.5 mm hole through the end plate into the housing so that the first oversize 7.5 mm can be inserted.

Tap in the dowel pins and centre punch the end plate after insertion to prevent the dowel pins from moving out.

Do the same for the second oversized 8mm version.

With the stepped 8/7mm dowel pin, drill out the casing 8mm so that the end plate is 7mm as standard.
