The launch of the new Vespa Primavera was at the EICMA 2013.

The successor to the Vespa LX, which is partly reflected in its design, was presented to the public for the first time. The lines and shapes of the elite and exclusive Vespa 946 are also recognisable in it.

The bodywork, on the other hand, has been redesigned compared to its predecessor models, which is why the Primavera has grown in size. Nevertheless, the scooter remains very manoeuvrable, which makes it ideal for city traffic. Thanks to the 11-12 inch wheels, the Primavera remains pleasantly stable even on longer journeys.

The Primavera was delivered with 4 different Engines:

• 50cc 2-stroke Hi-PER 2

• 50cc 4-stroke Hi-PER 4

• 125cc 4-stroke 3-Valves LEM

• 150cc 4-stroke 3-valve LEM

Numerous modifications have been made to the 50cc 4-stroke engines to minimise emissions and at the same time bring the performance of the small 50cc engines to an acceptable level. For this reason, this Engine is available as:

• 50cc 4T 2-Valves

• 50cc 4T 3-Valves

• 50cc 4T 4-Valves

Between the basic, touring and sports versions, numerous special models of the Primavera were also produced. These include, for example

In addition to the tyre size, the lighting system also differs depending on the year of manufacture.

The Primavera is available with the older tyre variant:

• front = Tyre: 110/70-11inch Rim: 2.50×11inch

• rear = Tyre: 120/70-11inch Rim: 2.75×11inch

as well as the newer generation of tyres:

• front = Tyre: 110/70-11inch Rim: 2.50×11inch

• rear = Tyre: 120/70-11inch Rim: 2.75×11inch

The Headlight Unit with its conventional but replaceable HS1 bulb was already replaced with the new generation of LED Lamps in 2018.
