The black Kalle 2022 E-Scooter from TRITTBRETT offered numerous innovations: It came with an Elevation range and improved safety features. New brakes, lighting and a new Display were also introduced. What was already an enormous step forward in the development of E-Scooters in 2021 with the Kalle City was consistently continued with the Kalle 2022.

Features of the Kalle 2022 E-Scooter Footboards

Footboards continued to rely on tried-and-tested components that had already impressed in the predecessor models of the Kalle 2022. The 350 W Engine came from Bosch, the tubeless Tyres from CST and the small parts from Würth. The splash water protection of IP65 for the body and IP67 for the Engine was also retained. The charging time of the 36 V lithium-ion battery was between 240 and 300 minutes and the weight remained at a comfortable 14 kilograms. However, in addition to these tried and tested features, there were also some exciting new features:

New display: the Kalle 2022's display was larger, brighter and offered many more readouts. From the clear speed display to the battery status and warnings, everything was well thought out. It was a real feast for the eyes.

More range: Thanks to the refined interaction of the components and the installation of the Hobbywing Controller from the Model Paul, the Kalle 2022 achieved a range of 30.6 km with a rider weight of 75 kg, according to Footboards's internal tests. This was an increase of 20 per cent compared to the previous 10.4 Ah Battery.

Improved stability and safety: Based on the Paul model, the more stable locking joint and the shape of the front bar were adopted, giving the E-Scooter more stability and a better feel when locking the folding mechanism.

Refined braking feel: The further developed E-ABS brake, which already impressed on the Paul model, was now also available for the Kalle 2022, with pleasant braking behaviour and the same braking force.

More Light: A 30 lux lamp now illuminated 35 metres of the road, an upgrade that ensured both comfort and Elevation safety.
