The Emma E-Scooter model has evolved significantly from 2021 to 2022. In 2021, the Emma City model already represented significant progress, and this development has been consistently continued with the Emma 2022. Footboards, a company known for its innovative strength and based in the Ruhr region, has once again demonstrated its expertise with this model. The Footboards team continues to rely on tried-and-tested components that have already proven themselves in previous models. The 350-watt Engine is supplied by Bosch, while the tubeless Tyres come from CST and the small parts from Würth. The Emma 2022 also retains the IP65 splash water protection for the body and IP67 for the Engine. The 36-volt lithium-ion Battery takes between four and five hours to charge, and the weight of the scooter remains pleasantly light at 14 kilograms.
The Emma 2022's Display is a real innovation compared to its predecessor. It is larger, brighter and offers much more information. The clear speed display, the battery status and even warnings - everything has been considered to improve the user experience.
A lot has also been done in terms of range. Thanks to the optimised interaction of the components and the integration of the Hobbywing Controller, known from the Model Paul, Footboards has been able to achieve a range of 30.6 kilometres - that is an increase of 20 percent compared to the older 10.4 Ah Battery.
There has also been progress in terms of stability and safety. Based on the Paul model, the more robust locking joint and the shape of the front bar have been adopted, giving the E-Scooter a firmer structure and making the folding mechanism safer.
The braking feel of the Emma 2022 has also been refined. The E-ABS brake, which already impressed on the Paul model, now also ensures pleasant braking behaviour with unchanged braking force on the Emma 2022.
More Light is another highlight. A 30 lux lamp now illuminates 35 metres of the road, which not only ensures greater comfort but also Elevation safety.
