The SEGWAY-NINEBOT ZING E-Scooter series launched the E8 and E10 models, the first E-Scooter products developed specifically for children. These models were characterised by their low weight, functionality and high-quality workmanship. The main differences between the E8 and E10 models were their dimensions and design. The E8 was suitable for children aged 6 to 12, while the E10 was aimed at kids aged 8 to 14.
The SEGWAY-NINEBOT eKickScooter ZING E8 and E10 were extremely lightweight and could be folded quickly without the use of hands. The Battery was strategically positioned under the Footboards to achieve a low centre of gravity, which made handling much easier. Non-slip material for both the Footboards and Tyres ensured a stable riding experience. The solid rubber tyres were maintenance-free and together with the 40 mm front Shock Absorber and cruise control, they contributed to a comfortable riding experience. The colour selection was designed with children in mind, with light blue and pink for the E8 and a plain black for the E10.
The E8 weighed 7.9 kg and the E10 8.4 kg. The sizes of the models were age-appropriate, with the E10 being 8.5 cm longer and 10 cm taller than the E8. Both models had a hands-free folding mechanism. The maximum speed was 14 km/h for the E8 and 16 km/h for the E10. The three driving modes - safety mode, driving mode and turbo mode - made it easier to learn to drive and increased safety, for example by limiting the maximum speed to 10 km/h in safety mode. In addition, the E8 and E10 models were equipped with three independent braking systems - hand, foot and regenerative braking - to ensure a safe braking distance at all times. A special feature of the E10 was the ambient light under the Footboards, a highlight for the children. The eKickScooter ZING E10 could be fully charged in around four hours.
