The SEGWAY-NINEBOT ES2 was characterised by its excellent price-performance ratio and was regarded as the ideal city hopper. Although the ES2's insert was limited to private property in Germany, it impressed with a weight of just 12.5 kg and the ability to be folded up very compactly. With a top speed of 25 km/h, it offered an enjoyable riding experience and represented excellent value for money.
The SEGWAY-NINEBOT ES2 was a real price-performance winner in the lower price category. Its 300-watt motorisation provided a powerful drive and also mastered smaller inclines without any problems. The Display enabled uncomplicated operation, and even more functions could be utilised by combining it with the corresponding App and a smartphone. The ES2 ran on 8-inch solid rubber tyres, which were virtually maintenance-free and could not be affected by a flat tyre. The lack of suspension comfort on the Tyres was relatively well compensated for by the two Shock Absorbers, although larger 10-inch pneumatic tyres on other models offered more comfort in comparison. The ES2 was braked with an electric regenerative brake at the front and a manual mudguard brake at the rear.
In Germany, the Segway ES2 was not authorised for road use and could only be used on private property.
