With the IO HAWKCROSS 2.0, the Krefeld-based company IO HAWK has built a Hoverboard that offers a lot of fun and coolness. It had a connection to an App and speakers for the right sound. The free IO HAWK App, which was available for both iOS and Android, could be used to record the routes travelled, check the battery status or display the current speed. The IO HAWK CROSS 2.0 is not road-legal and may only be used on private property.

But the "hardware" also leaves nothing to be desired. With its 8.5-inch solid rubber tyres and deep tread, you could literally float over sand, grass or gravel. The IO HAWK CROSS 2.0 was a Hoverboard designed for off-road riding. The IO HAWK CROSS 2.0 mastered all bumps, even kerbs, without any problems. It offered pure riding fun at 12 km/h and a range of up to 15 kilometres. Even a rain shower couldn't harm the IO HAWK CROSS 2.0, as the Casing was protected against splash water.
