GOVECS occupies a leading position among e-scooter manufacturers in Europe and specialises exclusively in the production of the eSchwalbe. Manufacturing takes place at the production facility in Poland, where state-of-the-art technologies are used to ensure the high quality of the eSchwalbe and to offer customers the greatest possible benefits.
GOVECS model history
The Schwalbe, a historic moped with a distinctive boxy shape, enjoyed great popularity back in the 1960s thanks to its unmistakable design by French industrial designer Louis Lepoix and its powerful two-stroke engine. It quickly became a cult icon and characterised the mobility of several generations until its production was discontinued in 1986.
More than 30 years later, in August 2017, GOVECS AG brought the Schwalbe back, albeit in a modernised electric version with a top speed of 45 km/h. The company took care to retain the iconic design of the original. In July of the following year, a faster model with a top speed of 90 km/h was added to the range. In August 2023, GOVECS presented a further development of the eSchwalbe, which is now equipped with easily replaceable batteries.
