The ADIVA company was founded on 31 July 1996 with the aim of developing a new generation of vehicles better suited to urban mobility, based on the concepts and innovations of entrepreneur Nicola Pozio. Some scooter models were manufactured in Italy before Benelli was sold to a Chinese manufacturer. Models with a displacement of 50 cc that were developed and manufactured there had a two-stroke engine. Some Benelli models still exist under the brand name ADIVA.
The ADIVA was also sold by the car manufacturer Renault under the name Fulltime.
The first project developed by the company's engineers was the ADIVA motorbike, which was equipped with a new folding metal roof. Thanks to the large windscreen, which easily transforms into an excellent protection against wind and rain, both for the rider and the passenger.
Six years later, ADIVA's experienced designers began to create a new collection of scooters, which were produced under the ADIVA logo at the end of 2007. This model series differs from its predecessors with a larger displacement of 200 to 250 cc. The company also worked confidently on the development of a three-wheeled motorbike.
In 2008, the AD3 three-wheeled scooter with two front wheels and one rear wheel was launched on the market. In 2018, in addition to the comfortable AD3 400, the new, curvy and easy-to-manoeuvre AD1 200 was introduced. Today, ADIVA focuses almost entirely on scooter models with three wheels.
