Badges
- for Vespa & Lambretta at SIP Scootershop
Badges are the icing on the cake of every scooter. The variety here is enormous. There is one for almost every scooter model. Badges in different colours or materials are also available. Everyone will find something to suit their taste.
Badges differ depending on the scooter model. We stock Badges for classic Vespas up to 1948, Motovespa, Allstate, Messerschmidt, ACMA, Hoffmann and Lambrettas, but also for all Modern Vespas, many Ape, Scooter and Maxiscooter models.
You can get a good overview by either removing your vehicle type filter or entering the search term "Badge" in the search.
If you are not sure which scooter model you ride or which Badge is the right one for you, you can check the following criteria:

Different fastenings for the Badges
If the Badges are fastened with Rivets , we indicate the number of Rivets and thus the number of holes in the Badge. Badges with pins for the front Legshield are also riveted. Here we describe the number of pins and their hole spacing. This can also be straight or offset. If the hole spacing is offset, then the position of the Badge on the Legshield is diagonal. We have special adaptors for our Riveting Tool for both rivetings to ensure perfect installation.
Badges at the rear are fitted with Securing Plates. Some Badges were originally only glued. Others, like on the Vespa U, are only painted on. Badges on newer models are usually made of synthetic resin and are self-adhesive. In addition to the attachment, the Badges differ in length, width and thickness.
The right colour makes all the difference with Badges
In the 1950s, the Badges on Vespens were chrome-plated or painted green. Then came the midnight blue - almost black in colour. From the mid-60s, the colour changed to polished silver/aluminium. In the 70s, the typical Vespa lettering was abandoned. Badges were now straight and in lower case. It was only with the Modern Vespas and the PX'98 that the cursive script was reactivated.
If you want to do a restoration, pay attention to the intended use "Note 1 - faithful restoration". These come from elaborate small series.
We offer more favourable variants under the notes "Note 1- perfect repair". These are then black, for example, instead of midnight blue or self-adhesive instead of metal, they are just stickers. Sometimes we also have colour variations that were not originally available, but still go well with some paintwork. We then label these as "accessory - very nice" to avoid confusion.
