Racing cylinder 200 ccm
for Vespa 200 Rally/P200E/PX200 E/Lusso/`98/MY/Cosa 200 at SIP Scootershop
The royal class and the goal of every Vespisti's dream. Riders of a Vespa 200 Rally/P200E/PX200 E/Lusso/'98/MY/Cosa 200 will find what they are looking for here. But since the PX200 engine can also be built into any large frame, 200cc tuning is also extremely popular with everyone else. The 200cc class is the SIP man's favourite child. Almost all our scooters are equipped with 200cc engines: from road tuning to bottem end.
The POLINI cylinder is a steam hammer. In combination with a GS piston it is also good to ride on track. The PINASCO with long-stroke shaft is a touring bomber. Beautiful power from the bottom out. Our favourite was and is the MALOSSI 210. With a road-tuned 200, you can cover distances without any problems. Every year we go on a SIP works outing with the hard core. So far, it has always been over the Alps with many mountain passes, very often to the sea. No matter whether Rally, GS160, SS180, VNB, VBB, Sprint ... All are on the road with 200cc engines, all with 210cc MALOSSI. The engines have real steam, 115 km/h cruising speed, 125-130 km/h Vmax. Our friend Michael Hoby, ex-president of the Copenhagen Scooter Club, has also been on the road with us several times. But he's warming up before he starts with us: Copenhagen-Landsberg 1200 km, 16-18 h, fuel, smoke and pee breaks are scarce.
All quarter-mile fans and horsepower junkies will get their money's worth here. The German-speaking scooter scene is known worldwide for its street racers. Almost all of them are 200s. Even the most powerful 200cc engines - without NOS and foreign engines - with over 50 hp come from this scene. So welcome to the top class!
Customers ask - SIP answers
"Why should I adjust the overflows in the engine housing?"
The petrol/oil/air mixture flows from the crankcase into the actual cylinder chamber via the overflows, where the mixture is compressed and ignited. Every flow transition or edge here represents a flow brake or turbulence edge and should be avoided and adjusted if necessary.
