Get the Grip! Stopie, spot braking or burnouts: for this you need not only engine power and skill, but also sensible brakes. The daily driver will place more emphasis on better dosing, good response, low fading and discreet hand force to achieve maximum safety and riding comfort in daily street combat. Brake pads, brake discs, brake shoes, brake master cylinders and other products are an often forgotten topic when it comes to tuning or servicing. The more powerful the engine and also the older the brake systems, the more important it is to optimise pads and washers. We have everything to do with brakes from the manufacturers RMS, GALFER, MALOSSI, PIAGGIO and SPIEGLER, among others, which differ in price as well as in their range of use.

The range of brakes for scooters at SIP Scootershop
Brake pads & brake shoes
We distinguish between brake pads for disc brakes and brake shoes for drum brakes. To make it easier to distinguish, we have divided the brake pads into types, such as S10, S11, based on their dimensions. Brake shoes are installed on the cheaper scooters or on the rear wheel.
Brake hoses & replacement parts
The original brake hoses are usually only made of rubber. The steel braided brake hoses are high-tech and the ones from SPIEGLER even have TÜV approval. The scooter can be customised with different colours for the lines and connections.
Brake discs & adaptors
Along with brake pads and brake shoes, brake discs are the wear parts par excellence. They come in many diameters, hole patterns and shapes. The more holes, recesses or corrugated shape, the better the cooling. Floating bearings ensure even better braking performance. Oversize brake discs also have a super braking effect and are usually supplied with a matching adaptor. Many brake discs are also available with homologation.
Brake callipers & seating
Everything your heart desires: whether original brake calipers, CNC-manufactured radial brakes or mighty BREMBO pliers - you'll find it all here.
Brake master cylinder & adaptor
Braking performance also depends on the respective brake master cylinder. If it is not really compatible with the brake calliper and line, the biggest brake calliper will be of no use. We have brake master cylinders for every application.

Customers ask - SIP answers
"How important is the front brake?"
With a good front wheel brake, you can really make up seconds on the circuit, because if you brake later, you are faster for longer and make up metres on corner entry.
But also on the road, a good front brake is not only a plus in safety for the sporty scooter rider, but also a fun factor when you can show off your beautiful carbon scooter rear from below to those behind you on the last few metres before the traffic lights ...
Since the front wheel is loaded with the entire vehicle weight during heavy braking, the front wheel can transmit the most braking force. Therefore, it makes the most sense to improve the braking power of the front wheel brake in particular.
