Everything about brakes for Lambretta
- at SIP Scootershop
Whoever brakes wins! It is not only important that your Lambretta's brakes are intact on long journeys - they should also be in good working order for occasional riding. Worn or corroded drums, as well as glassy or oily pads, pose an extremely high safety risk. Whether you ride with original brake pads or use the original-compatible alternatives - here you will find everything you need to know about "slowing down fast"! We explain how to find exactly the right parts for your model and which manufacturers develop the best products for it.
How do I find the right parts for the brakes on my Lambretta?
You are now in the large Lambretta brake section. To narrow down the selection of products even further, you can now select the exact type of vehicle for which you are looking for brake parts. For example, if you are interested in everything related to "Lambretta DL/GP", then make this selection and the display will be much more specific and tailored to you. The filters in the left-hand navigation allow you to sort by "make", "use" and other criteria. If you remove the vehicle type filter, e.g. "Lambretta DL/GP", the entire range for the Lambretta vehicle category is displayed. This is always helpful if you are not sure which vehicle type the scooter you are riding is in.

The different models at Lambretta
Lambretta A/B/C/D/E/F/J/Lui
We have combined the early Kardan models and the "Smallframe" models into one group. Both model series are equipped with drum brakes, but use very different parts.
Lambretta DL/GP
The last version of the classic Lambretta designed by Bertone. Available with drum and disc brakes. Many identical parts to the Series 3.
Lambretta Series 1/2
Early series of Lambrettas with chain drive. Technically very similar to the later models, but packaged in a rounder, more curved sheet metal dress. Always with drum front and rear. Late models in particular have many overlaps with the Series 3.
Lambretta Series 3
First "slimline" Lambretta. The LI gets a narrower silhouette. Mainly supplied with drum brakes. The TV 175 3° (later TV200 and SX 200) was the first two-wheeler with front disc brakes in series production.

The range of brakes for Lambretta at SIP Scootershop
Brake pads & brake shoes
We offer a wide range of original parts. Depending on the model, we also have versions with improved lining material.
Brake hoses & replacement parts
Our range includes a wide selection of brake hoses. In the Lambretta range they are needed when the front brake system is converted to full hydraulics. The length and type required varies greatly depending on the conversion. It is best to measure the exact length of the required version on the vehicle. Then check the position of the connections and select the correct banjos for fitting.
Brake drums
Whether original replacement or tuning part. We offer a large selection. A part where it is very important to pay attention to quality.
Brake master cylinder & adaptor
The perfect front brake is fully hydraulic. For this, a brake master cylinder must be adapted to the handlebar on a Lambretta. We offer a selection of different options - both visually and functionally.
Front disc brake
There are options for upgrading the original disc brake with a hydraulic brake cylinder. But we also offer a wide range of aftermarket disc brakes, which, unlike the original ones, are on the outside. Lambrettas that are originally equipped with a drum can also be retrofitted with both types.
The disc brakes, oversize, radial conversions and everything that goes with them can be found at Conversion Kits Brakes.
