VOLspeed- VOLspeed is a brand of the company TLI Elektronik GmbH from Ehekirchen in Upper Bavaria. Since 2017, the company has been producing measurement technology for the industry, such as misfire diagnostic devices for gas engines or stroboscopic lamps with a camera system for ignition timing. In 2018, Managing Director Tobias Lindermayr discovered e-bike tuning for his company and is launching tuning modules on the market under the name VOLspeed. TLI is currently concentrating on motors from Yamaha and Bosch.
The VOLspeed tuning modules are installed directly on the mid-engine and are not visible from the outside. No cables have to be changed or damaged, the plug connections are easily recognisable and quite easy to handle. However, no PC or smartphone is needed for configuration and start-up, all settings are conveniently made via the display. The options for setting the speed limit, the downshift behaviour and the wheel circumference via the display are also unique on the market. In this way, the level of maximum motor assistance can be set to an individual value between 25 and 99 km/h. And last but not least, the entire tuning can be switched off at any time via the display of the e-bike - so you can always ride without having to worry that something is wrong.
