E-bike tuning with Speedbox at SIP Scootershop

SPEEDBOX - Ebike Electronic s.r.o., a Czech manufacturer based in Prague, has been producing tuning chips under the "SpeedBox" label since 2014. The company focuses on the production of high-quality chips and thus wants to put the consumer's comfort in the foreground.

The company started with SPEEDBOX 1.x in 2014 and has been developing steadily ever since. In the meantime, version 3.x of the module has been released and offers almost everything that e-bike or pedelec riders could wish for. All modules remove the speed limit of 25 km/h, but only since version 2.x have the current values such as speed and kilometres travelled been shown correctly in the display and no longer halved. With the latest development "B.Tuning", which was made for versions 2.x and 3.x, there is a connection of the e-bike or pedelec by means of a smartphone app. For example, motor and ride data can be analysed, the motor lock can be activated and Tuning can be completely hidden. As of June 2021, however, these features only work with Bosch motors.

In spring 2022, the latest versions of SpeedBox 1.2/1.3 (B.TUNING) for SHIMANO drives were launched. These modules make it possible to display real speeds of up to 23 km/h and even higher speeds when connected to the Speedbox app. However, the Speedboxes only work with drives without electronic gear shifting (Di2).

The Czech manufacturer is known for its extensive range of tuning modules, which are very sophisticated and easy to install and use. The products offer many possibilities and thanks to the connection via app you can use them even better.
