NOTARI - From racer to product developer

In the early 70s, the young Giorgio Notari entered the world of motorbike racing. He raced in the Moto 50 and 125 cc classes in Italian hill climbs as well as in the sidecar championship.

In the mid-70s, Giorgio Notari enters the Piaggio world and buys an old spare parts and vehicle warehouse that belonged to a large Maremma dealer. Notari makes a name for himself nationwide as an accomplished restorer of historic Vespa vehicles. In the mid-90s, he was officially recruited by Piaggio to restore vehicles for the museum in Pontedera. He worked there as a consultant until 2010.

In 1998 he was part of the team of authors for Vespa's first vintage catalogue. Together with other authors, Notari compiled the six volumes of the "Vespa Tecnica" book series. This standard work brought him international recognition and Notari continued his work as an author. Among other things, he works for the publishing house Giunti Editore and brings magazines with small Vespa models as inserts to the newsstands in Italy.

NOTARI - The new millennium

In 2005, Giorgio Notari founded NOTARI in Grosseto and quickly became the official supplier for the Piaggio Group. The company has around 1,500 articles in its range. Accessories and spare parts are among the most important products and NOTARI stands for quality, precision and has respect for the customer's wishes.

NOTARI sees itself as a keeper of Piaggio's history and traditions, inspired by the future. Vintage fashion items are just as much part of the programme as modern accessories for the world of two-wheelers. NOTARI has no shortage of new ideas and aims to enrich the international market with quality products "Made in Italy".
