Inspired by a World War II film, Sayed Abdul Wahab began manufacturing motorbike Side Car in India in 1964. With the support of D'Souza, a naval officer, he was able to market the products successfully. after a dispute with a business partner, Sayed Khaleel A. Wahab took over the business and continued to run it under the name COZY India. The company established itself in the market, despite the death of Sayed Abdul Wahab in 1988, which put the business in a difficult situation. in 2011, Sayed Khaleel A. Wahab re-established COZY India. The company consolidated its locations in Navi Mumbai and Byculla, Mumbai, and opened a new branch called C.I. Customs in Bengaluru in 2016.
