Vespa Season Start Augsburg, Germany 2022

Created by Ralf at 15:05 on May 2, 2022

The "Rollerkö" season kickoff in Augsburg, Bavaria, is a highlight in the calendar every year and a home run from Landsberg, the hometown of SIP Scootershop. The actual date was already 3 weeks earlier in April for the custom show of the Crazy Bumble Bees and the Zuckerpuppen in Gundelfingen. However, it was cold and windy that day and so there was to be a second, warmer date: the 1st Sunday in May.

Meeting point as every year in the middle of the city centre in front of Mc Donalds, the former Salamander shoe shop. This year, too, there was the beautiful patch, which was sold out immediately. So there were probably around 200 participants.

Departure at the Rollerkö and it went to the first stopover, the BRK centre in Friedberg. When everyone arrived there through all the inner city traffic lights, the beautiful route led through countless villages in the wonderful Wittelsbacher Land to Eurasburg to the Landhausbräu Koller. The beer garden there is a dream and sausage salad, crusty schnitzel and Kaiserschmarrn corresponded excellently with the home-brewed beer.

Unfortunately, there was an incident on the tour: 2 Vespa riders got stuck, fell and had to go to hospital. We hope they are both doing well and wish them a speedy recovery! As you can see, safe two-wheeler clothing is always a good idea, and we have some suitable clothing for scooter riders in our shop under the categories of motorbike helmets, motorbike gloves, motorbike jeans and motorbike jackets.
