In this video Jesco presents a real world novelty! A cylinder for the very popular displacement class of 244 cc. The hot prototype comes from our friends and business partners VMC from Vicenza in Italy and bears the sonorous name "Explorer". In the video linked below, Jesco takes a lot of time to put the part through its paces. He installs the cylinder in his own Vespa T4 with Rally 200 engine (62 mm stroke, 33 mm carburettor, SIP Road 3.0 exhaust, SIP Vape ignition) and puts it to the test against several other models. Can the VMC 244 cc "Explorer" deliver what our Vespa luminary expects of it? How does it differ from the other cylinders in this class on the market? How complicated and time-consuming is the installation? We promise: it will be exciting and all questions will be answered.

There is one thing we can tell you in advance: the cylinder is powerful. Even more important is the very broad power band and the high torque. Especially in the lower rev ranges, the cylinder pulls through very well. Even with a resonance exhaust, the power gap before the exhaust resonance is hardly noticeable. You can see exactly what the performance diagram looks like in the video. Have fun!

And here is the Portmap.
