Vespa Tre Giorni 2023

When Markus Tomasini decided to organise the first Vespa Tre Giorni 10 years ago, he had to fight windmills and went against a lot of good advice. But the fact that he stood by his enthusiasm and personal motivation was to pay off, because no less a person than Robin Davy, the well-known collector from Munich, registered for the very first event.

Robin attracted many more visitors with his person and made the meeting big. Robin's claim was the benchmark for Markus to offer one of the highest quality meetings in the European area.

The concept has proved to be very successful and over the years all events have been very well attended. However, the Tre Giorni cannot be held every year, the organisational effort is too high.

The 2023 meeting, which took place exactly 10 years after the very first Tre Giorni, was also almost perfect, both in terms of organisation and external circumstances. And of course Robin was there this year too, as well as many other well-known collectors, dealers, Screws, riders and clubs from the scene. The day tours on Thursday and Friday led over the well-known mountain roads Grossglockner, Jaufenpass and Timmelsjoch, among others.

Friday evening was the big evening event, for which no less a venue was chosen than the high-alpine restaurant, the mountain station of the Hoadl mountain railway. It is obvious that for Markus von Herzen the most important thing is his guests: so prizes were awarded for the longest journey (Canada), but also organisers of other meetings were honoured, whose efforts and efforts are otherwise rarely mentioned and appreciated.

The vehicles brought by the participants and many female participants were a colourful mix; classic Vespas and Lambrettas as well as Modern Vespa, Side Car and Co. The weather meant well and held exactly until the end of the Saturday event, which consisted half of a ride and the other half of a real Vespa meeting with a Tent and stalls in the Vespa Village. For the Vespa meeting, the number of participants reached its peak of about 500, because beyond the Tregiorni participants, many more Vespa enthusiastic visitors from the surrounding area joined in.

We thank Markus for the invitation to the Vespa Tre Giorni 2023 and hope to have made a small contribution to the success with our SIP Scootershop stand. We look forward to the next Tre Giorni, be it in 3, 5 or 10 years 😊
