Vespa Ride: Breakfast Ride 6.0 in the Philippines

While we are slowly preparing for the season in these latitudes and looking forward to the upcoming events such as SIP Open Day and Matscho Karatscho, elsewhere on the globe people are already riding out. This was the case in the Philippines, where our friend and business partner Eugene Buenaventura from ScooterDepot organised the Breakfast Ride 6.0. On 2 April, lovers of the cult two-wheelers (Vespa, Lambretta, LML and Royal Alloy) met for a free breakfast and subsequent ride.

The meeting point was the venerable Royale Tagaytay Country Club in Alfonso Cavite, in the crater of a former volcano, about 70 kilometres from the gates of the capital Manila. "Last year we had around 450 participants, this time there were around 750 scooter fans," Eugene and his two older sons, who have now also been infected with the Vespa virus, are pleased to say. In bright sunshine and pleasant temperatures, after the physical refreshment, the participants went out onto the streets, where passers-by were amazed by the stylish scooters and no less stylish riders.

Eugene sent us a video that really gets us excited about the events that will take place this year. We have also linked the video from ReboManIsEverywhere. Lots of cool impressions that whet your appetite for more. Best wishes to the Philippines!
