Vespa Quartermile 29th Pfingstrun Stockach Lakescooters SC (DBM)
Every year at Whitsun, the legendary Whitsun Run takes place in Stockach. In the middle of nature, on a beautiful recreational area, the Vespas and Lambrettas are honoured and a big party is celebrated. This also includes the first round of the German Tin Scooter Championship, which is always held there.
This year, for the 29th time, the event was much smaller than a few years ago, only lasting one day, and even the race took place in a nearby industrial estate. Nevertheless, the atmosphere was indescribably good, and almost all participants returned home from the meeting feeling "inspired".
Among the highlights of the race were once again the SIP crew: Jesco, who blew up a motorbike, Nico, who lived up to his reputation as a starting machine and even made the unbeatable Phillip Mittelberger show nerves. André, Fabian and Ruben, who were almost exactly as fast and took second place in both the street racer and the rotary class.

The most beautiful scooter meeting
On the evening after the race, the party is always particularly exuberant, firstly because the winners celebrate themselves openly and secondly because the tension of the race subsides; which seems to guarantee a particularly good mood and atmosphere!
So this year, despite the reduced size of the event, we have to conclude that Stockach is one of the most beautiful scooter meetings in Germany. The SIP team would like to thank the organising team, the Lakescooters S.C. Wahlwies, as well as the organisers and helpers of the DBM for this unspeakably beautiful event and weekend. We are very much looking forward to the 30th anniversary next year!
