Vespa meeting: 200 Fari Bassi
A very special scooter meeting will take place in Munich from 10 to 12 May 2024. The Vespa Oldtimer Freunde München will be hosting the 5th World Vespa Meeting for vehicles built up to 1957 under the banner "200 Fari Bassi". The Deutsches Museum's Transport Centre is the perfect frame for this event. Fari Bassi" refers to the old scooters on which the front headlight is located on the mudguard of the front wheel, i.e. "lamp down". The organisers are looking forward to seeing around 250 of these old treasures and tubular handlebars from ACMA, Douglas or Hoffmann from all over the world.
Book presentation, Vespa Collection, acrobatics, Concours d'Elegance and more
There is a lot to see and experience: Collector Robin Davy will be exhibiting his diverse range of exhibits ("Best of Vespa & Memorabilia"), including genuine rarities. As if that wasn't enough, he and co-author Mika Hahn will be presenting the new Book "Il Mondo della Vespa". A two-volume work of art with 720 pages and over 2,000 illustrations. The cover image and content are currently being kept under Catch, but you can find clues here. The creators behind it are no strangers, having already caused a furore in the scene with their work "Vespa Forever" (2006). Other highlights include: Acrobatics, Allnighter, gala evening and much more - we from SIP Scootershop will also be represented with our own stand.
