Vespa Corso Munich September 2023

In addition to the Vespa Corso in May on Ascension Day, the Protestant pastor Friedemann Plug has also been organising a September edition for a few years now. This is on the so-called Italian Weekend at the Wiesn. Somehow it fits quite well to make the city, full of Italians, the northernmost city in Italy with a Vespa Corso.

About 400 scooter riders gathered at the Erlöserkirche in Munich, there was singing, laughing, a Kaffee Ape delivered delicious cappuccino and the police accompanied the Corso as usual. The same thing twice a year, but always great. Especially with the dream weather this year, 18° and a bright blue sky.

Afterwards we went to the Wiesn and had a mass of beer and a chicken in the sun. Thanks Friedemann for the great event, a nice end to the Vespa season in Munich. And hopefully there will be a few more beautiful days with the Vespa when the Indian Summer begins!
