Vespa Aperitivo: monthly at SIP Scootershop

They always say that Munich (or Landsberg, of course, from our point of view) is the northernmost city in Italy. But that's only true with a lot of good will. And because that's not always the case, you have to go to Italy from time to time. And so you often end up there in the late afternoon at a small bar. There's a cold drink and a few snacks on the table. Focaccia with courgette, rice salad with fennel, grilled vegetables, antipasti. You get a plate on which you can stack the appetisers when you order a beer, a wine or a "Spritz Aperol". There is a small surcharge on the drinks, but the appetiser buffet is then free. Italians call this "aperitivo". It's a tradition that grew up in Milan and is now widespread in many Italian cities. Sometimes the little things, which are actually meant as appetisers, are so sumptuous that you can skip dinner.

Couldn't we bring a little of this attitude to life back home? Bavaria is usually so Italianised. We say ciao and order a cappuccino, but contrary to Italian custom, in the afternoon as well. We also drink Aperol Spritz. Unlike in Italy, Aperol Spritz is more of a woman's drink here and many bartenders can't stand it any more. But it's perfect for an aperitivo. Our white wine "Chiaro di Luna" too, of course. Or a cool "Peroni". And that's exactly the kind of aperitivo we serve once a month at SIPERIA, the small Italian bar in the SIP Scootershop store in Landsberg.

From SIP10 (5) p.m. you can enjoy some sunshine and DJ sound on the terrace. There will also be a rich antipasti buffet to snack on, just like in Bella Italia. All drinks cost only €4.50 and include the Italian buffet.

Always on the same date, always at the same time, there is the "Open Dyno" event at SIP Scootershop. Performance test bench runs for everyone, where you can have the power of your scooter measured after pre-registration. Registrations by e-mail to: [email protected]

The next dates for the Siperia Aperitivo and SIP Open Dyno can be found on theSiperia Facebook page . A presto!
