US meeting for Vespa fans: Amerivespa 2025
Josh Rogers is not only the President of the Vespa Club of America (VCOA), but has also been a good friend of and welcome guest at SIP Scootershop for many years. Last year, he spent several weeks in our home town of Landsberg am Lech and we were able to do lots of activities together. Those were cool and eventful days that we remember fondly. But now it's time to look ahead, because the VCOA is organising another big get-together this year: Amerivespa in Portland from 11 to 15 June 2025.
Amerivespa goes Portland
We quote from the official homepage: Every year, Amerivespa, the largest scooter gathering in the United States, attracts 600 to 800 Vespa enthusiasts and other scooter riders from all over the United States (and the world!) for a four-day event celebrating all things scooter!
In June 2025, we anticipate another extraordinary event. We will be exploring the sights and scenery of Portlandoregon, enjoy.
Great rides, festive meet-and-greets, entertainment and a celebratory banquet are just a few of the things you can expect. Don't forget to register to secure your spot and Book your hotel room early. We can hardly wait to see you!
With a population of around 650,000, Portland is the largest city in the US state of Oregon, which lies in the north-west on the border with Canada. Portland has also become famous for its very active (alternative) music scene, which has produced the Wipers, Poison Idea, Modest Mouse, The Shins and the legendary hard rockers from Kiss, among others. There is a lot to discover in the city on the Willamette River and the nightlife has a lot to offer - especially strip clubs ;) The participants of the Amerivespa can definitely experience a lot.
