SIP Team Kick-off 2025: Starting the new year together

SIP Scootershop, a company with 170 employees, has been one of the leading addresses for scooter and Vespa enthusiasts for 30 years. On 14 January 2025, the management invited the entire team to an inspiring kick-off event to ring in the new year in style.

Three wishes from Alexander Barth

Managing Director Alexander Barth opened the event with three key wishes for the team:

Team spirit: "Look out for each other, greet each other, notice each other and notice when someone needs help-at work as well as in private."

Service: The focus is on customer service. From perfectly packed parcels and expert advice on the phone or in the shop to the best products and the highest stock availability, we want to offer our customers an unrivalled experience. Loosely based on the Latin term "Servire" ("to serve"): If we do this well, we also "earn" what keeps the company healthy and alive.

Passion: Passion for scooters and Vespas unites us and our customers. Being able to turn this hobby into a profession is a privilege that we do not take for granted.

A look back at 2024

Managing Director Ralf Jodl took over and proudly looked back on an eventful 2024. Highlights included:

30 years of SIP Scootershop (1994-2024)
SIP Open Day in May with more than 4000 visitors
Vespa Cross race Matscho Karatscho, a real spectacle
Vespa aperitivos in the SIPERIA, which delighted customers and team alike
Celebrating employee anniversaries that strengthen our corporate culture

Looking ahead: the year 2025

The outlook for 2025 also promises major events and exciting projects. Dates have already been fixed:

SIP Open Day on 31 May 2025
A Vespa Joyride in a new format on 5 July 2025 (details to follow)

Ralf Jodl ended his speech with a heartfelt thank you to the entire team for their hard work and an outlook full of anticipation for the upcoming scooter season.

A joint start to the new year

At the end of the day, we toasted the new year with Prosecco or juice - a symbolic moment that emphasised the team spirit and passion of SIP Scootershop. Together we look forward to a year full of service, passion and togetherness!

Ralf is managing director and co-founder of SIP Scootershop. He has been riding Vespa since 1990 and even today the working day starts best for him when he rides to the SIP headquarters in Landsberg on his Rally 200. Otherwise he owns a 180 SS, a 160 GS and a VM2 fenderlight Vespa.
