SIP Scootershop at the Oktoberfest: A summer party with horsepower and alcohol
When the SIP Scootershop crew organises a summer party, there's always something special going on - and this year it was the world's biggest folk festival: the Oktoberfest in Munich. You could feel the excitement in the air early in the morning as the entire staff gathered at the SIPERIA in high spirits. Whether this was due to the anticipation of the festival or the fact that they knew there would be free beer? Hard to say!
At 11 Clock on the dot, the bus rolled out of the yard and took the SIP crew safely to the Theresienwiese in a mixture of laughter, singing and the odd fleeting morning drowsiness. Once there, the group was suddenly wide awake as the colourful, cheerful scenery of the Oktoberfest spread out before them - the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable day full of Bavarian conviviality, beer mugs and, well, dancing on the tables.

But before things really got going, it was first time: off to the Bräurosl! The traditional festival tent, named after the daughter of the legendary brewery founder Pschorr, has always had a special place in the hearts of Wiesn fans. Not only do people dance to hearty brass band music here, but a centuries-old tradition is also cultivated. Originally, the Tent was a meeting place for Munich's citizens and farmers - today, everyone from international celebrities to, well, us: the party-loving SIP Scootershop crowd.

Fun fact: You used to have to be particularly careful in the Bräurosl, because the landlady, who was also called "Bräurosl" like the Tent, kept a very close eye on the beer mugs. The theft rate was particularly high. A tourist was caught trying to smuggle the "souvenir" out from under his Jacket without being noticed. Let's put it this way: the attempt ended in a humorous disaster.
Back to our summer party! Once we arrived at the box, a proper snack awaited us - a hearty plate full of Bavarian specialities. From Obazda and pretzels to juicy pieces of chicken, there was everything our hearts (and stomachs) could desire. And as soon as the first bites were eaten, the party began: the first beer mug was raised, followed by a cheerful "Cheers!" from the ranks. And anyone who has ever indulged themselves at the Oktoberfest knows that after the first beer, the second one follows as if by magic.

As the afternoon wore on, the cosy get-together gradually turned into a veritable festival of joy. The band played one Wiesn hit after another, and it wasn't long before the first colleagues were standing on the beer benches, showing off their best moves with a mixture of dancing talent and the courage of Maß beer desperation.

And so we celebrated, danced and laughed until the early hours of the evening. A few brave souls tried their hand at stein lifting (with varying degrees of success) and of course there was also the obligatory round of swaying. At the end of this fantastic day, everyone got back on the bus, a little exhausted but with a big smile on their faces.
One thing is certain: the SIP Team Summer Party 2024 will be remembered for a long time to come - and the Bräurosl now probably has a few more fans!
