Sexiest Workshops: "Murxbude" and "Dr. Rummel" in Berlin

After Jesco & Team were allowed to visit the Craftwerk in Berlin in the previous episode of our series "Sexiest Vespa Workshops", they stay in the capital and make further flying visits. Bunker hopping is on the agenda, because both the "Murxbude" and the "Praxis Dr. Rummel" are located in well-camouflaged vaults from the 1930s. But in the meantime, emergency power generators for the surrounding factories are no longer operated here; instead, scooters are being screwed together.

Harry is an Austrian who has lived in Berlin for 20 years and runs the "Murxbude 2.0" together with his work colleague Matze. At first they were working on two-stroke bikes in Kreuzberg and a neighbouring motorbike customiser said during a visit: "This is all rubbish what you're doing here. And so the name "Murxbude" was born. The two friends then moved into the bunker, where they set up a decidedly "muggle" workshop that never ceases to amaze Jesco: around the cosy, warming wood-burning stove, there are test benches, screwdriver stations and many scooters in every conceivable condition.

The doctors

The no less muggle inner courtyard is shared by the guys from the "Murxbude" and their neighbours from the "Praxis Dr. Rummel". Max, Reinhard and Steffen welcome Jesco and tell him the story of their garage, which has been in business since 2016.
