Sexiest Workshops: Crimaz
In this instalment of our Sexiest Workshops series, Jesco once again has the pleasure of travelling to Italy, specifically to the beautiful region of Emilia-Romagna. Here, north of Modena, lies the town of Limidi di Soliera, which you should know if you are interested in outstanding tuning parts from CRIMAZ. The name stands for Cristian Mazelli, who has been tinkering with new products in his workshop for many years, causing Jesco to go into raptures.

Expertise from the race track
Cristian is a true enthusiast for Vespa racing in Italy and has been active in this scene for many years. But it wasn't just the adrenaline on the track that fascinated him, he was able to use his vast experience in mechanical design to prepare his scooters for the track. In doing so, he often came across parts of inferior quality that turned out to be inadequate. He saw this as an opportunity to utilise his professional knowledge to produce his own tuning parts. Under the brand name CRIMAZ, in collaboration with the best Italian workshops, special parts are created that are characterised by perfect detail work and high quality.
And then Cristian and Jesco go into detail: they analyse racing machines, water-cooled Cylinders, cast frames made of GalC7, transverse Shock Absorbers, anti-dive Washers and other subtleties. The layman is amazed, the expert learns. Finally, Cristian even demonstrates how he realises his ideas on the computer and Jesco is allowed to take a seat on one of the legendary CRIMAZ racing scooters - the day has reached its climax.
