Vespas, spring and a whole lot of "La Dolce Vita" - Vespagioia kicks off the season

Blaubeuren - Bright sunshine, the smell of freshly brewed coffee and the unmistakable rattle of old Vespa engines: There could hardly have been a better start to the Vespagioia group's roll-on event. Around 60 enthusiastic participants met on the picturesque church square in Blaubeuren on Saturday morning, where many old acquaintances were finally able to embrace each other again between croissants and petrol talk.

The day trip was organised by Heiko from Blaubeuren, one of the ringleaders of Vespagioia. At 12 o'clock sharp, it was time to switch on the engines and set off through the beautiful hilly landscape of the Swabian Alb! The route led through idyllic villages with lovingly restored half-timbered houses, over gentle hills and along flowering meadows - spring at last!

A short break in a dandelion-covered meadow provided an opportunity to enjoy the sun and catch up on a bit of Vespa shop talk. After around 80 kilometres, we finally returned to the church square in Blaubeuren, where many ended the successful day in the cosy beer garden.

The participants were unanimous: this family outing was a complete success and a perfect start to the new season. The scooters are refuelled, the riders are highly motivated - the 2025 Vespa season can come!

Thanks to Heiko and his friends for organising it!
