Next Level: E-Bike Tuning made in USA

In the United States, a scene is currently forming that revolves around e-tuning. Everything that can be equipped with more watts is pimped: classic e-bikes, e-motorbikes, e-scooters, e-skateboards - there are no limits to the imagination. The (not only) young people meet for drag races in the tunnel or make the cities and freeways their stages. Above all, the Enduro-like dirt bikes from the manufacturer SUR-RON are in great demand in the tuning scene. An active aftermarket has already formed around them with parts that turn the dirt bike into a real projectile: Suspension, tyres, batteries, brakes - everything you can imagine. Speeds of 120 km/h and more are no problem.

Of course, all of this takes place in a grey area, because the legislators can't keep up at all when it comes to what is allowed and what is forbidden. The e-freaks take advantage of this and organise rides with several dozen participants. In the attached video, you can see the vehicles with which the creative e-tuners are on the road in Las Vegas and San Diego, for example. The ride lasts until the police appear on the scene. Then the spook is over just as quickly as it began.

Here in Germany, meanwhile, chip tuning is still the order of the day, with which e-pedelecs and e-bikes can be brought into line. Although there are already the first dealers for e-dirt bikes in this country, they are not yet widespread. The trend has not yet spilled over the big pond.
